This giant intruder flew through my window today. Luckily with it being so bright I had my curtains closed (to prevent screen glare) so it didn’t get into the office. It was amazingly loud so I knew something was special about it .

I had quite a few things on the window sill, I slid a 10 pence piece in there for a size point of reference, the hornet didn’t go near it. Clearly this is a magic 10p that repels Hornets.

Whilst it didn’t go near the 10p it did go near the Xmas light holder which is 1cm tall. The sizes are about accurate but it really was huge to look at!
