Two years ago Go Jamboree went to a Build Weekend for the World Scout Jamboree, we arrived Friday, worked all-day Saturday, went to see Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix in the Evening and went home on Sunday. To cleverly order the exact amount of kit for the World Scout Jamboree attenders orders were taken from every Unit and person for what they wanted from a catalogue of items, anything from cufflinks to neck-ties was available to order. In an aid to raise Funds for her Jambo-fee Merry has organised a Disco near enough to Saint Patrick’s Day for the theme to be green. Since the Disco has been done with some help from her Ranger Guide unit my fair lady will be there, and having beautiful red hair you know she’s going to look good dressing in theme!

This is also a good excuse for many Go Jammers to get together and party so hopefully the attendance will make a large reduction on the amount she is lacking. Over a year ago at the European Scout Jamboree there was an epiphany, the EuroJam forum was closing and there were no plans to launch a WSJ one anytime soon. On a bit of a whim I drafted up a comic revolving around last years EuroJam captives on the Geneva (Adult) sub-camp, the Goldfish Four. It’s nothing spectatular, and mainly just for fun and practice. Enjoy

I’ve managed to find a potential new housemate for next year, with all the randomly assigned housemates I’m been lumped with I’m looking forward to living with someone I’ve chosen myself.

I’ve reworked the code for the Go Jamboree forum so that it’s all completely commented for official records, cleaned it up so it “runs” quicker and added exactly one mod, it would have been more but there seem to be some compatibility issues so I’m holding back on them....read more »
