If you set your way back machine for June 2006 you’ll see a stub about how I changed the SSAGO Messageboard to use phpBB and particularly the …read more »
Bangor “Blackadder” Rally
AKA The Great Welsh Rally 2
So this is my inaugural rally as SSAGO Publicity Officer, this is what I thought it would entail: More people knowing my name than knowing theirs, more free drinks, the ability to get anything done without actually doing it myself, a lot of talking and playing of silly games.

Being in a rarely visited part of University and having a spare 30 minutes to twiddle my thumbs I started to look around, I mean actually look, fully take the time to appreciate my surroundings. I looked not with the perspective of someone in a corridor but a walkway for thousands of people heading somewhere, not just to their next seminar but beyond that.

Not in Nottingham.
I should be just north of Nottingham right now on the Walesby Forest campsite, most likely prancing around with a bunch of Men in Tights for the Pirates of The Caribbean vs. Robin Hood Men in Tights SSAGO Rally. I’m still doing the University thing, still haven’t acquired a concrete finance improver, still doing lots of volunteer work for very little reward, still going camping. I suppose I am camping more now that I’ve more close friends across the entire country that I want to see as much as possible. Its all EuroJams fault
If I hadn’t spent a month sleeping in the middle of a international multicultural field fiesta I could’ve been in Bristol getting the jobs before the student exodus in Aug/Sep time and nabbed one solidifying my monetary status. Question is: Would I change anything? Hell No! So I’m content …read more »
Birmingham “Chocolate” Rally
Thursday 18th
Apart from a rather disheartening phone call I had a fantastic stay in Birmingham, Went up on Wednesday to visit my old school chum Div. After driving flawlessly for ±90 miles I counted up the road to Div’s house number and somehow it jumps from 60 to 125 right house number after 30 mins of searching I found the right number yet I kid you not I was still 100m off; I was on the wrong road!! So we then went to the pub for drinks.
